Returning to the field – excavating in southern Iraq in a time of pandemic
Following two years of the global pandemic, archaeological fieldwork is starting up again in Southwest Asia. BerGSAS-PhD student, Mette Bangsborg Thuesen, tells of her experience on the excavation of a recently discovered settlement in Southern Iraq dating to the Late Antiquity.
